Colour, Place, and Connection

I am fortunate to live and work in the beautiful landscape of Georgian Bay. Daily walks along the shoreline and through the surrounding woods allow me to experience nature in all seasons, weather conditions, and the ever changing light. These moments of observation and connection to nature influence both my being and my creative practice.

The landscapes I paint are a response to the beauty and constant evolution of the natural world. They reflect a sense of wonder, gratitude, and concern for the delicate balance that sustains it. Rather than serving as a record of specific locations, my paintings are impressions - an invitation to pause, reflect, and deepen our connection with the land.

Ultimately, my work is a celebration of the places that nurture us and a reminder that they are worthy of our love, care, respect, and preservation.
